Laboral Integrated Vocational Training Centre
The Vocational Training that marked the life of the Universidad Laboral since the 1950’s still makes its presence felt in the City of Culture through the auspices of the Vocational Training Centre, the biggest Asturian centre in industrial specialities.
The refurbishment work done has seen improvements to the administrative buildings, the classrooms and the workshops, as well as providing the centre with a separate entrance on the building’s main façade.
Some 900 students are currently studying there at present, thus continuing on the tradition of vocational training excellence that was synonymous with the erstwhile Universidad Laboral.
